Although
you may have never seen her here, this is where you'll find Malon
during the day, before you get Epona. |

The
timer is counting backwards, odd.
Here Link has a second go at the race, he has only 110 rupees now rather than 120. |
Malon,
standing between the house and Cow shed, she never appears here in
the final version. |
The
crate and tree from the final version are not here. |

The
closer of the two fences is very very low, it would have made navigating
the ranch much faster. |
A
very different starting view. |
Here
you can see that the counter starts at 3 minutes (It says 2:59 here
though). Why it counts down I don't know, maybe you had to be in the
lead when the time ran out or something? |
Sheik
teaching Link the Minuet of Forest. Once again after he has walked
onto the warp platform, the area itself looks quite different too.

Interesting
this.
This
is the cinema that used to play after you traveled forwards in time
for the first time.
As
you can see the door of time (green) is closed again to prevent you
going backwards in time until after you beat the Forest Temple. |
The
strangest thing here is the clear Spiritual stones, maybe the magical
energy is meant to have been sucked out of them or something. At this
time in the game's development though the three stones were actually
used to "power up" the OoT, so perhaps this is where the
colour is meant to have gone. |
The
Triforce symbol above the door of time is upside down. Maybe it turned
the right way up after you opened the door. |
Warp
pad looks very different! |
The
Alter of Time looks different too, here it's just one big slope, in
the final version the part where the stones go is flat and the back
is sloped. |
The
Master Sword is removed. |
And
replaced. |
